Japan Skater' hometown

Japan' Single figure skaters are in very high level recently.
interesingly, many are from city of Nagoya, Aichi pref.
Nagoya is famous for Toyota.

i dont know why they are so highconcentrated.

Mao Asada has world title 2008
Miki Ando has worlds 2007
Yukari Nakano has good records in the international

Takahiro Kozuka won Skate America

they are from Nagoya city.
i'm not sure they born in Nagoya though..

Daisuke Takahashi is from Okayama, more west of Nagoya.
Shizuka Arakawa is from Tokyo.

Nagoya has good place to skate for skater i mean better facility than other place
but,
i heard Daisuke and Shizuka both HAD difficult time to skate by facility problem.

Daisuke is a student of Kansai University, Osaka now.
i dont know they have skate link. should have.

and now Thukyo University, Nagoya have 2 nice skate links for Mao Asada and Miki Ando. (not only for them.. maybe ;)

Now they have good environment. it's better and better these days.
look forward to watch their performance at Worlds in LA.
